Hungry for more tunes? Check out GageStep, my first initiation into making digital music. I’ve always been a musician at heart, playing bass guitar and electric drums, but I haven’t always had the time to commit to a full band. Discovering digital music software opened the door for me to express that creative joy again, freely, instantly, and just for fun.
GageStep is an all instrumental project built for futuristic, electronic driven experiences. The early tracks were created using Music Maker Jam, which is basically like going to the grocery store, picking out your ingredients, and cooking up some delicious BeAts. Magix Studio lets you buy beat kits and sound packs, then assemble and tweak them into something uniquely your own. Inside the studio you can modify tones, shape textures, and carve out your personal sound.
At its core, GageStep is about freedom, experimentation, and being just a little goofy, a playful space where creativity gets to run wild.
